Back’d by KBP Cares provides backpacks filled with essential school supplies to the children of KBP Brands employees and to employees pursuing their own education.

Through this program, we aim to:

• Help students feel confident and prepared

• Support educational success for KBP families

• Make the start of the school year easier and more exciting

In 2025 alone, Back’d by KBP Cares provided over 1,100 backpacks to students ranging from elementary school to higher education.

Whether it’s a child entering kindergarten or an employee pursuing their own degree, this program helps our KBP families begin the school year ready to learn and ready to succeed.

Back’d by KBP Cares is offered once each year in preparation for the upcoming school season.

Toward the end of the school year, company-wide communications are sent out announcing the program and opening the sign-up window. The announcement includes a direct link to apply, and a QR code is made available on this page during the enrollment period for easy access.

Once applications close, the real fun begins. Backpacks are assembled at our Home Office during a hands-on packing event where KBP comes together to sort, organize, and pack grade-appropriate supplies. It’s a high-energy, all-hands effort that turns preparation into participation, and reinforces the spirit of community behind the program.

Backpacks are then shipped and distributed by late July to ensure students are ready for the first day of school.
