At KBP Cares, we recognize housing as one of the most significant challenges employees can face during times of instability.
In recent years, housing costs have continued to rise across many markets, making stable housing increasingly difficult to access during periods of crisis.
For many employees, securing approval for a rental is only part of the battle. High move-in costs — including deposits and first month’s rent — can create a financial gap that is difficult to overcome, especially when transitioning from housing instability, homelessness, or unsafe living conditions.
Pathway Home was created to address that gap in a structured and sustainable way. Rather than offering one-time rent assistance, the program supports employees as they transition into stable housing while building the financial foundation needed to maintain it independently.

Pathway Home is a housing stability program designed to support KBP Brands employees who are experiencing homelessness or significant housing instability.
The program provides temporary rent assistance paired with financial planning tools to help participants transition into stable housing and build long-term sustainability.
Pathway Home is not a general moving assistance program. It is intended for employees facing serious housing insecurity who are prepared to actively participate in a defined plan toward stability and independence.
-
Pathway Home is designed as a partnership between KBP Cares and the employee.
Participants receive temporary rent support while actively working toward long-term housing stability. The program includes shared rent contributions, savings expectations, financial planning tools, and regular check-ins.
The goal is not only to help secure housing, but to help participants build the financial foundation needed to sustain it independently.

Pathway Home is not an open enrollment program.
Employees experiencing homelessness or significant housing instability are encouraged to begin by completing the KBP Cares Hardship Application. Employees may also speak with their Area Coach or manager for support in navigating the application process.
If a situation aligns with the goals and structure of Pathway Home, the Cares team will reach out directly to discuss potential next steps.
Participation is based on eligibility, readiness, and available funding.
Pathway Home reflects our commitment to supporting employees not only through crisis — but toward long-term stability.
