Wishes was created in 2021 after the KBP Cares team identified an opportunity to better support employees during the holiday season. As requests for holiday-related assistance increased, it became clear that families could benefit from a program designed specifically to celebrate the season.

Inspired by traditional “Angel Tree” programs, Wishes brings KBP together to spread joy and create meaningful holiday moments for KBP families.

Each year, Wishes reflects the generosity, teamwork, and community spirit that define KBP Cares.

Wishes runs annually ahead of the holidays and is coordinated through Area Coaches. Each Area Coach selects one employee from their area to participate, and selected families are invited to create a holiday wish list that includes gift ideas for each child and one household item.

Once wish lists are submitted, volunteers assist in shopping for the selected items. An individual sponsor — or “Angel” — then supports each family by purchasing the gifts.

All items are delivered to the Home Office, where KBP teams come together for a festive wrapping event before packages are carefully prepared and shipped to families in time for the holidays.
