Encouraging Smiles provides financial assistance to employees facing the high cost of medically necessary or extensive dental care including full extractions and dentures. Untreated dental issues can lead to serious health problems, and this program is designed to ensure employees receive the critical care they need while supporting overall well-being.

• Dental Assistance is available through a direct employee application process submitted through the KBP Cares portal.

• Employees with urgent or medically necessary dental needs may apply on their own behalf.

• After approval, KBP Cares coordinates directly with the dental provider to arrange payment for eligible treatment.

• Payments are sent directly to the dental office. This program does not provide reimbursement to employees.

To be eligible, employees must meet the following requirements:

• Be actively employed with KBP for at least 90 days

• Be in good standing with store

• Be requesting medically necessary or extensive dental treatment that poses a risk to health or well-being

• Have a current, unpaid dental treatment plan from a licensed dental provider outlining recommended care and estimated costs

• Have active dental insurance or demonstrate efforts to obtain coverage to help reduce treatment costs and support ongoing preventive care after treatment

This program is intended for critical dental needs. We cannot provide assistance for:

• Routine cleanings, exams, preventive care

• Braces and routine orthodontics

• Wisdom teeth removal and non-urgent extractions

• Elective or non-critical dental treatments

Approval is based on medical necessity, available funding, and program guidelines
